Ticket Booking Instruction

  1. When booking tickets, passengers should provide the following to our service staff:
    1. Departure and destination cities.
    2. Departure date and time.
    3. The Chinese and English names of passenger(s).
    4. The contact phone number(s) of passengers or booking person.
      Our service staff will enter the above data in the computer system to book tickets for passengers. After booking is completed, passengers will be given a computer code. When passengers wish to change their schedule, they can simply tell our service staff this computer code for them to quickly search for the relevant information to provide them service.

Special Requests

Mandarin Airlines accept minors aged 5-12 travelling alone and air travelers with disabilities and the air transport of pets. Passengers with such needs should voluntarily make such requests to our service staff for us to make arrangements in advance for passengers to enjoy a safe and comfortable journey. Online booking Instructions

I. General statements

Please read the following statements and rules before you use the system. Do not use it if you disagree with or do not accept the rules. If you are not the passenger, you must inform the passenger of the rules and restrictions pertaining to the use of the ticket. You can book the ticket after the passenger understands and agrees to the rules and restrictions.

  1. Your credit card payment transactions are encrypted using the SSL encryption system. Your information is secured and protected. The personal information that you entered is only used for booking and issuing tickets. Except as requested by law enforcement agencies of the government, we will not provide your personal information to a third party for commercial or other applications.
  2. We have the right to adjust or change the details of the ticket fare in the system and make announcements on the website at any time without notice. The previous adjustment and changes are not retroactive. Your rights remain the same if you completed the ticket booking and purchasing procedures.
  3. The ticket purchasing contract is established effectively once you finish the transaction in the system. Any disputes related to the contract are subject to the laws of the Republic of China as the governing laws.
  4. If you are a disabled person by law or the companion of a disabled person or need special services, please click here for detailed information. Please contact our service center as early as possible to receive our specially-arranged service and to avoid having to undergo the full registration procedure. Otherwise, we will ask you to change the flight, or we will refuse you to take the flight because of your special condition.
  5. We will satisfy all of your needs, provide a safe and cozy flying service for you. If you are unable to take the flight due to your health condition (such as heart attack, epilepsy or other serious illnesses, suspicion of infection with notifiable diseases and etc.) or other factors not attributable to you, and you have paid for the ticket, we will handle the refund for you without any refund fee.

II. Ticket booking instructions

  1. Please enter the passenger's name and ID number/passport number carefully. Once you've completed the online booking and payment procedure, the name and ID number/passport number of passenger can't be changed. If you find passenger information is incorrect after completion of the ticket purchase, it is necessary for you to make a new booking with the correct information. The ticket with incorrect information can be refunded, and the refund service charge shall be paid according to the flight ticket regulation..
  2. It is acceptable that the booking date of the ticket is for the flight on the same day or for all available flights within 360 days after the booking date. You must book your ticket online one hour before the flight takes off if your booking date is for the flight on the same day.

III. Ticket rules by type

  1. Our system has rules for different types of tickets. A specific ticket rule will appear after you click on the ticket you intend to buy. Please read and consider the rule carefully before you book and purchase the ticket.
  2. The disabled accompanied by a guardian or companion on the flight may request a half-fare discount using the disability card.
  3. Please purchase the ticket at our counter if the ticket you want to buy is not available in our system. Please call our service number for details.

IIII. Ways of payment

Our system provides convenient service for you to book and purchase your ticket, and you can pay using the following methods:

  1. If you ask others to book and buy tickets for you using a credit card, the insurance from the credit card may not cover the persons other than the card holder. We suggest you to use your own credit card to protect your rights. Please be aware of the insurance especially for those who book and buy for you.
  2. You can use the following credit cards: VISA/MasterCard/JCB.
  3. Your transaction will be completed after you book the ticket online and make the payment.

V. Instructions for the disabled by law and those who need special services

For those who are designated disabled by law and need special services, please contact our booking department to ensure you receive a safe and cozy flying service and service arrangement. (For example, those who are incapable of actions and need wheelchairs or portable oxygen cylinders, children who are alone and below 12 years, the pregnant, those who have pets and so on. VI. Check-in instructions

  1. Please finish the check-in and seat allocation procedures at the airport counter 30 minutes before departure. We will make your seat open to the waiting passengers if you are late.
  2. Please inform us that you are an online booking passenger and present your booking code, ID card for verification.

VII. Rules for flight changes

  1. Our system sells two types of tickets for “changeable flights” and “use only for the specified flight on the same day”. Please read the rules for different types of tickets before you book and buy the ticket to protect your rights.
  2. No refund fee is charged for those who buy tickets for “changeable flights”.
  3. For tickets that are designated as being for “use only for the specified flight on the same day”, differences may occur depending on the type of the ticket, and whether the departure date or the flight is changeable is subject to related rules. Please read the rules for different types of tickets with care before you book the ticket.
  4. We will not charge you any refund fee for special situations such as change of the flight schedule or cancellation of the flight.

VIII. Refund rules

  1. Refund rules are different depending on the types of tickets. Please read the rules for different types of tickets before you book the ticket to protect your rights.
  2. You can choose the following methods to request a refund if you pay with a credit card:
    • The card holder takes the credit card used to buy the ticket for a refund at any of our business offices or at the airport counter.
    • Use our service hot-line for a refund.
    • Request a refund from the refund page on our website.
  3. If the credit card used to buy the ticket is expired, lost, stolen, damaged or cannot be used for any other reasons, the card holder may use his/her reissued credit card or related documents for a refund.
  4. You may request a refund using the refund option on our website if you use LINE Pay (only acceptable for the tickets within 150 days after the issue date). You may request a refund at any of our business offices or at the airport 150 days after the issue day.
  5. Should a refund be requested due to cancellation of the flight, we will not charge you any refund fee if the cancellation is brought about due to force majeure or other facts not attributable to the passenger.
  6. The refund fee varies depending on the types of tickets and will not exceed 50% of the ticket fare at maximum. (Some tickets become invalid after expiration subject to approval of the civil aviation authority.) Please read the rules for different types of tickets with care before you book the ticket.

IX. Others

  1. Other passenger rights that are not specified in these Instructions are subject to the “Mandarin Airlines Standard Transport Contractor for Domestic Air Passengers”.
  2. Any matters that are not specified in these Instructions shall be dealt with according to laws, regulations, customs, equal and reciprocal principles and good faith.
