Mandarin Airlines held a meeting for its board of directors on 11/16/2005, in which the Vice Chairman of the company, Michael Lo, was elected as the new Chairman. He also nominated Harris H. Y. Wang as the new President, to fill the vacancy left by the former general manager, Ringo K. S. Chao, who was transferred to become the President of China Airlines. This nomination was approved by the board of directors in unanimity. The former and new Presidents also held a hand-over ceremony under the compliment of the new Chairman, Michael Lo.
Previously, Harris H. Y. Wang has been served in China Airlines for 33 years. In the recent six years, he made an distinguished performance in his work in Mainland China. Mr. Wang indicated that to develop the integrated efforts of the cooperation, he intends to work closely with China Airlines, the parent company of Mandarin Airlines, on the issue of cross-strait transportation between Taiwan and Mainland China. |
