Mandarin Airlines expanded charter service from Taipei to Laoag on October 20th. This is the third Philippine line following the previous two lines to Cebu and Subic.

　　Laoag is the seaside resort closest to Taiwan---only 75-minute flight away and in the same time zone. Office workers with busy schedule can shift their gears and wind down within very short period of time and enjoy the slow pace there.

　　Mandarin Airlines carried out this Laoag-bound charter service with the 168-seat Boeing 737-800 which took off from Taoyuan International Airport at 6:45PM and arrived at Laoag at 8PM. There will be two flights every week, one on Friday and the other on Sunday. Mandarin Airlines cooperated with travel agents, offering 3-day and 6-day “Going Laoag” package tours. The one leaving on Friday is the best for office workers to take advantage of the two-day weekend holidays. As to the Philippine workers in Taiwan, the flight leaving on Sunday will be a great choice to fly home for short-termed family reunion.
