There is always an eager demand for flight tickets to return home in Kinmen during the Chinese New Year holiday. This year, the number of the passengers multiplied because Taiwanese businessmen were allowed to travel to and from Chinese Mainland through the model of “small three communications”. The foggy weather of the Kinmen during the Chinese New Year caused further disruption to the flight schedules, too. For that reason, to serve the Kinmen passengers who had became almost impatient in waiting for a flight ticket, Mandarin Airlines made a special arrangement to mobilize its aircrafts, providing extra flights to transport the Kinmen people back to their native island. Legislator Wu, Cheng Dian, from Kinmen, expressed his special thanks to Mandarin Airlines in the Kinmen Daily: “Mandarin Airline was approved to fly to Kinmen on January 2005. It is good news to the native Kinmen people. In addition, this is the first year that Mandarin Airlines under the heavy responsibility of the single service window for extra tickets in the Song Shen Airport. It has overcome the difficult weather to provide extra flights to transport the passengers, so that many Kinmen people can return to their native land and enjoy the holiday together with their families. We must give affirmative applauses to Mandarin Airlines”. |
