ORBIS “Flying Eye Hospital”, the only one of its kind in the world, visited Taiwan on 12/2-15, 2005, to support ORBIS Taiwan in its public welfare activity, “New Hope for Blind Kids”. During its staying in Taiwan, Mandarin Airlines and China Airlines sponsored the “Flying Eye Hospital” for free the navigational matters agency and ground services. Mandarin Airlines also provided 20 free return domestic flight tickets for the ORBIS staffs to travel between Taipei and Kaohsiung.
Mandarin Airlines, which has been known for sparing no efforts in sponsoring public welfare activities, also attended the charity bazaar, “Deliver Love to the Aboriginal Land”, organized by the Feng Chia University Aluminum on 12/11, in order to raise fund for the aboriginal children for free lunch and education. Mandarin Airlines held a secondhand goods sale in the bazaar, and all the profits went to the education foundation for the aboriginal children. |
